Register Today! Re:Vision Urban Farm Volunteer Day

Urban Farm Volunteer DayCottonwood Institute is teaming up with Re:Vision for our annual Urban Farm Volunteer Day on Saturday, September 29th 2018 from 9am-1:30pm at their headquarters: 3738 Morrison Road, Denver, CO 80219.  CI loves partnering with Re:Vision every year because they are a visionary and inspiring organization doing a whole lotta good in the Westwood community of Denver.  Register Today to secure your spot!

Re:Vision is an innovative non-profit organization in Westwood that develops resident leaders, cultivates community food systems, and grows self-sufficient economies. More recently they launched the Westwood Co-Op which actively provides jobs, training, and affordable food to this neighborhood. They need our help with various projects on property that might include urban farming projects, weeding, planting, harvesting, composting, cleaning, and construction projects.

Urban Farm Volunteer DayRegistration includes Mexican lunch from a local Promotoras at the co-op and beer from Great Divide Brewing Company at the end of the project for 21+ volunteers.  Because of the construction happening on site, the minimum age for this volunteer project is 10 years old accompanied by an adult.

Register Today! This volunteer day is limited to the first 20 volunteers.  You are confirmed once you’ve filled out a CI waiver and heard back from Taryn. When we fill up, we will start a waiting list.
