A Tournament of Epic Proportions

Epic. Noble. Empowering. Bragging Rights. Smiles. Koozies.

Cornhole ThrowdownWhat’s that? The Cornhole Throwdown?

Yes, folks. The 4th annual Cornhole Throwdown is coming up this August 24th at Congress Park in Denver. The Throwdown is an annual event for people who want to enjoy a delightful Saturday afternoon in the park playing some Cornhole with friends, while supporting a great local educational non-profit. Whether you’re an expert or you’ve never heard of the game before, it is a great time for all. Relax, no experience is needed to participate!

The cost to compete in this tournament of epic proportions is $50 per person ($100 per team). Each team consists of two people. Each competitor must be 21 or older. Your registration fee includes a guarantee of three games of cornhole with a four team round-robin format, food from Stoney’s Bar and Grill, cold beverages from Wynkoop Brewing Company, Throwdown koozies, a chance to bid on our silent auction items, and awesome prizes like a trophy and restaurant gift certificates (just to name a few…). Want to kick it up a notch? You can become a Throwdown VIP for $250. To learn more about 2013 sponsorship levels and the amazing benefits, click here.

The Throwdown raises money for the Cottonwood Institute to help support our programs to connect diverse students to the outdoors and empower them to take action to improve their schools, their communities, and the environment. Remember, this is for charity and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Cottonwood Institute, so do it for the kids! It’s a noble cause.
