Quote for August 21, 2007

"If we use resources productively and take to heart the lessons learned from coping with the energy crisis, we face a future confronted only, as Pogo, once said, by insurmountable opportunities. The many crises facing us should be seen, then, not as threats, but as chances to remake the future so it serves all beings." – L. Hunter Lovins and Amory B. Lovins

I am not the best leader honestly because i am a shy person, but also because i’m not always sure what i should be doing. However, i like getting other people to join in the group and become active, and at times im really good a leading, it just depends on the situation. I definitely can give the group support and help encourage others to become more active and engaged. I am very interested in learning about nature, and i may ask questions that others wouldn’t have thought about to ask. I am very willing to help others, and like getting help as well. Im a good listener and will take others opinions into consideration!

According to this quote, we should create opportunities out of threats. I agree, because usually people are scared of threats and if a threat isn’t a threat then there would be nothing to be afraid of. Having no fear is for sure the ideal way to live life.
