We Threw Down At The Throwdown

The Throwdown 2015Who threw down at The Throwdown? Close to 150 participants, volunteers, and supporters threw down at The Throwdown at Union Station on Saturday, August 8th, 2015, which is Cottonwood Institute’s annual charity cornhole tournament.

Music from DJ Mykey Mcfly pumped an infectious vibe throughout Union Station, while Living The Dream Brewing Company and Marley Coffee quenched our thirst as the day and the competition started to heat up.

Snarf’s Sandwiches and Voodoo Doughnuts made sure we were well fed throughout the day.

Overall, we raised over $18,000, which will help support our high need program partners, schools, and youth organizations to connect underserved students to the outdoors and empower them to tackle local issues in their communities. Check out our blog for some recent donor-supported programs we completed this spring and summer!

The Throwdown 2015So who won? Pest Control Control took first place, including some great prizes from Tailgaterz and sweet custom cornhole set trophies thanks to AOR for serious bragging rights.
