Winter Trails Day
This year, the Cottonwood Institute is excited to partner with SnowSports Industries America and REI for 2009 Winter Trails. Winter Trails Day is an event where children and adults can try snowshoeing for FREE at more than 100 locations in the U.S. and Canada. Winter Trails Day, now in its 14th year, offers entire families or groups of friends, regardless of age, an opportunity to get outside in the winter and enjoy a day on snow. Snowshoeing provides a great workout, a chance to enjoy nature and it is easy to learn. The Cottonwood Institute is excited to help out with the following Winter Trails events:
- Saturday, January 10, 2009 - Echo Lake
- Saturday, February 14, 2009 - Rocky Mountain National Park
