BASE CAMP BASH KICK OFF PARTY: Friday, March 30th, 2012 at 5:00pm

We are excited to partner with Wynkoop Brewing Company in Denver to create a limited-edition organic beer sourced from local ingredients called “Cottonwood Organic White” to benefit Cottonwood Institute and our educational programs. From March 30 – April 30, 2012, a percent of sales of this special beer, beer glasses, and t-shirts will be donated to the Cottonwood Institute and we will have a kickoff event at Wynkoop to launch the beer and the promotion, kick off Earth “Month,” highlight the sustainability initiatives of our sponsors, and sell tickets to the Base Camp Bash. BASE CAMP BASH: Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Pack up your gear and get ready to summit because our 2012 Base Camp Bash is Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 7 – 10pm at Artwork Network in Denver, CO to benefit the Cottonwood Institute! The Base Camp Bash is our annual fundraising event and silent auction and our theme this year is “Colorado Fourteeners.” We will have stations throughout the space featuring local food from Snooze, Cottonwood Organic White beer from Wynkoop Brewing Company, wine and spirits, and live music. FREE SURVIVAL CLINICS AT REI:

Free REI Survival Skills Clinics: Popular shows like Survivorman and Man vs Wild are captivating audiences nationwide, but do you have what it takes to survive? The Cottonwood Institute is excited to host a series of FREE 3-Season and Winter Survival Skills Clinics at REI in Boulder and Denver. During these clinics you will participate in an interactive survival scenario, learn about survival priorities, tips, strategies, and techniques, and will learn how to make a personal survival kit.

CORNHOLE THROWDOWN:
Cornhole Throwdown: The Cornhole Throwdown is an annual event for fun, happy go-lucky people who want to practice the art of tossing a bean bag into a hole in a piece of decorated plywood, a.k.a. Cornhole, all for a good cause. The 2012 Cornhole Throwdown is TBA from 11:00am – 5:00pm at Washington Park in Denver.
