COTTONWOOD INSTITUTE HAPPY HOUR AND BEER RELEASE PARTY: Wednesday, November 12th, 2014 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Cottonwood Institute and Wynkoop Brewing Company are excited to host a Happy Hour and Beer Release Party at Wynkoop on Wednesday, November 12th, 2014 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. Wynkoop will unveil their latest limited-edition fundraising beer called “Cottonwood Organic Pumpkin Porter” to benefit Cottonwood Institute. From November 12th, 2014 – December 12th, 2014, Wynkoop will donate $1 per pint to support Cottonwood Institute programs to connect underserved students to the outdoors and empower them to tackle local environmental issues. Come over to Wynkoop after work, taste Wynkoop’s latest fundraising beer, help us celebrate our accomplishments this year, network with other CI supporters, and “raise a glass to the environment.” There is no cover for this event, but donations to the Cottonwood Institute for Colorado Gives Day will help support our programs and will help set us up for success in 2015. Cottonwood Institute VIPs who donated in 2014 will receive drink tickets and appetizers in a special VIP area. Stay tuned for more information!
BASE CAMP BASH: Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 6-10pm at RedLine Art Gallery
The Base Camp Bash is our main fundraising event and annual excuse to get together, have fun, eat local food from Snooze, tasty beverages from local breweries and wineries, enjoy live music, and bid on fabulous silent auction items, trips, unique experiences, and date nights from the best local businesses and restaurants. The Base Camp Bash helps raise the critical funds we need each year to connect students to the outdoors and empower them to take action to improve their schools, the community, and the environment for future generations.
Stay tuned for details about the 2015 Base Camp Bash! In the meantime, to check out what we put together in 2014, Click Here.
THE THROWDOWN – A CHARITY CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT: 2015 Date TBA
The Throwdown is our annual charity cornhole tournament for fun people who want to enjoy an afternoon in the park playing some cornhole, a classic lawn game, with friends, while supporting a great local educational non-profit. Whether you’re an expert or you’ve never heard of the game before, it is a great time for all. Relax, no experience is needed to participate!
Why Cornhole? A more appropriate question should be why not? The Throwdown raises money for the Cottonwood Institute to help support our programs to connect diverse students to the outdoors and empower them to take action to improve their schools, their communities, and the environment. It’s a noble cause.
