School Credit
Cottonwood Institute courses are available for college credit through Western State College if you are 16 years or older. If you would like to get high school credit for your course, you must coordinate this directly with your high school’s registrar, guidance/college counselor, and/or Principal/Head Master.
If you are interested in receiving college credit through Western State College, please send us an email. We will email you a College Credit Information Packet.
Please note that payment for your course is made directly to Cottonwood Institute; payment for college credit is made directly to Western State College. Enrollment for credit through Western State College must be completed prior to beginning the Cottonwood Institute course. If you are planning to receive college credit for your course, it is your responsibility to communicate with Western State College and your current/future school to make sure everyone is on the same page about how the credit will transfer to your current/future school. If you will be receiving school credit, please note that the course texts are mandatory and you should plan on bringing them on your course.
