Funding Priorities
We are committed to increasing the accessibility of the outdoors to a diverse group of public school students in the Colorado Front Range. If you would like to support our efforts, here are our biggest funding priorities:
- Community Adventure Program: $500 per student x 60 students = $30,000 per year or $7,500 per program.
- Earth Task Force: $500 per month x 10 months = $5,000 per year
- Operation Military Kids: $250 per participant x 12 participants x 4 projects = $12,000 per year or $3,000 per project
- Endangered Wolves and Animal Tracking: $875 per student x 12 students = $10,500 per project
All donations, no matter how large or small help make a huge difference:
- $5,000 helps 30 low income students camp under the stars for the very first time for an entire week!
- $2,500 helps 12 military kids go on a camping trip while their parents are serving our country!
- $1,000 helps 60 public school students take action to address pressing local environmental issues!
- $500 helps 12 public school students go rafting for the first time, while learning about their watershed!
- $250 helps a child from 1 military family take our Essential Survival Skills Course!
- $100 helps 4 public school students attend our hands-on water sampling field trip!
- $50 helps 1 student receive the gear they need to spend an entire weekend outdoors!
- $25 helps 15 students receive one hour of action-based professional instruction!
