The Cottonwood Institute is committed to offering high quality
educational programs that truly inspire students to change the world. Public school budgets are shrinking and Principals are cutting funding for educational programs like the Community Adventure Program. Our single biggest priority is to fully underwrite the costs to implement the Community Adventure Program at New Vista High School in Boulder, CO and at P.S.1 Charter School in Denver, CO. Each Community Adventure Program costs approximately $7,500 per quarter and schools are only able to pay for a fraction of these costs.We need your support today to fully underwrite our educational programs!

Sponsor the Base Camp Bash – The Base Camp Bash is our annual fundraising event that raises money to underwrite the costs to implement our educational programs at public schools in the Boulder/Denver area. We are looking for local businesses to donate silent auction items such as outdoor gear and equipment, restaurant gift certificates, and other items as well as financial contributions to underwrite the costs of the event and to support our programs. Sponsor the Mt. Harvard Volunteer Project – We are looking for local businesses that can provide volunteers and that can help sponsor the Mt. Harvard Volunteer Project next summer. We are interested in collaborating with businesses that can provide 8-10 adventurous volunteers and that can make a charitable contribution in the amount of $2,500 to help underwrite the costs of the project.
